| The Plan | Select a topic that can produce a single card or a series. Cards in a series may have the same or similar background elements but different content. Students can work individually or in groups. |
| The Front | The front may include a logo, photo, and/or graphic. Use some identifying text with some detail that distinguishes it from the other cards. |
| The Back | The back includes a general outline or specific details about the front. |
| Picture(Canvas) Setup | Open PhotoDraw\Create a new picture using: Blank Picture\OK\Default Picture\OK File\Picture Set-up
|
| The Background with Border | Click on the Draw Paint Icon: Select Autoshapes: Rectangle. Move the crosshair to the upper left hand corner of your canvas. Drag across and down until you have covered the entire rectangle. If you did not make it on the first try you can adjust it by moving any handle. Select a color for the edge. (You can change it later if need be.) Click on Fill: Select a plain or textured background. Draw a line from edge to edged cutting the rectangle into two equal pieces. Make the line twice as wide and the same color as the border edge. Remember we are going to fold this so the line when finished will only be half as wide. |
