Eisenhower Principal:
Tony Vessakosol

Welcome to Eisenhower Elementary School.  We take pride in creating excellence in education for all of our students. With an enrollment of about 670 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth grade, we are a rainbow of races, cultures and languages, working well together because learning is our common goal.

The faculty and staff of Eisenhower Elementary look forward to daily teaching and modeling the invaluable knowledge and skills that students greatly need to rise above the adversities in life. They must realize that they have a choice of what their future holds and the ability to successfully make their choice a reality.

The academic curriculum is challenging. Our instruction is student centered. We are a community of learners, sharing and valuing individual differences. Our purpose is to establish a positive learning environment so that every child is successful. Our goal is to use strategies that provide rigor and relevance in every lesson to every student. Our responsibility is to reach and teach each individual student the necessary skills to accomplish anything they set their minds to, while cultivating an initiative spirit with drive that will last a lifetime.

Our vision is to continue to grow and develop into a school of the future; to teach students to think, to prepare them for jobs in a fast paced, information rich, global economy, preparing them for jobs that may not be invented yet. Our desire is that our students will be successful, productive citizens of the world.

Feel free to visit with us anytime. We welcome your thoughts, questions and feedback. We are eager to meet you and hope that you will become involved in our school.

Respectfully,
Tony Vessakosol, Principal
