We believe the purpose of our library is to promote the love of reading, to support the curriculum with a variety of materials and resources, and to provide opportunities for students and staff to become effective users and integrators of ideas and information.
Our library web site is a "virtual" library - open 24 hours a day providing students, staff, and parents with information about our library program.
You'll find all kinds of wonderful things here - including news about our library, online resources (databases and search engines), and our library schedule. You'll also find information about Read Across the Prairie along with links to great web sites about authors and books!

The goal of our library is to provide students and staff with opportunities to gain information literacy skills, acquire and appreciation for all genres of literature, and most importantly, to develop a life long love of learning and reading.
Teachers collaborate with the librarian on activities and projects that will enhance and enrich the learning of our students. Students are given the opportunity to visit the library on an "as needed" basis in order to seek information or exchange books at least once a week.
Classes can sign up:
to explore our databases and online catalog
to experience information skills in context
for read alouds, booktalks, and reader's theater
to select and check out books and magazines
for anything else we can dream up to do!
