Hi my name is Linda Dumler.  I have taught fourth grade for eight years.  All my years of teaching have been at Whitt Elementary.  I currently  teach math and science.  I love teaching fourth graders because the students are not too young that I have to show them how to tie their shoes, yet their old enough for them to understand my corny jokes. Fourth graders are respectful to adults, love to learn, and have fun in school.

As far as my personal life, I grew up in Wichita, Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University. After graduating I moved to Texas because of work and quickly loved the Lone Star State.   I worked in bank management for 20 years before going back to college at UTA.  There I earned credits in the Master Degree in Early Childhood Education, and received my teaching certification.  I’ve been married for thirty years to Brad and have one daughter named Samantha.  I also have a semi-daughter (one that I have taken care of for several years) named Mari.  I have two dogs named Toby and Jazzy. My hobbies are reading and gardening.

One of my favorite saying is “Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit, when there are footprints on the moon.” by Paul Brandt.  I promise that I will take your child on a challenging and fun experience in fourth grade.
