My name is Jessica Godby. I was raised in Mansfield, Texas and I am a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggies, Whoop! I received my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood. I am also ESL certified. I have been married to my husband, Chris, for five years. We have a beautiful two-year old daughter named Georgia who attends the daycare here at Whitt. In my spare time, I love to read, cook, and spend time with my family. I also have two dogs, Addie and Scottie.

This is my eighth year to teach third grade at Whitt Fine Arts Academy. I am currently teaching math and science. My philosophy of education is that every child can learn and it is my job to facilitate the learning within the classroom to ensure that each child meets his/her full potential. I believe that as teachers we are molding the minds of the future.
