Fine Arts

We prepare students for life and work with intensive arts training. All students are given the opportunity to actively participate in creative work, develop skills and learn through the arts. Academic content merges with art production and performance to enhance critical thinking and problem solving, deepen understanding and improve student achievement. We promote expression of the arts in a context that embraces cultural diversity, values every student and enriches lives in our school and community.

Art Club Meets every Tuesday after school in Room 703

Make up meetings are every other Wednesday at 7 in room 901 or 900                                                                                 If you cannot make either meeting, see any Visual Arts Teacher for information.

You do not need to be in an art class to be a member of art cub.

Next Meeting: Tuesday meeting is cancelled. Meet in Room 703 Thursday, November 5 at 3:30 for a snack dinner. Bus will leave at 4:30 for Dallas Museum of Art. You must have your permission form turned in to go on the trip.
