CHOIR NEWS

 Congratulations to the wonderful choir students that auditioned for the

Region XX Mixed Choir and the Region XX Treble Choir.

All of the GPHS Choir students did a fantastic job

and several students were placed in these prestigious choirs.

   Andres Ramirez and Nathaniel Fox advanced to the Region Mixed Choir

 and are 1st and 2nd alternates to the pre-area auditions.

Six girls were placed in the Region Treble Choir.

They are Rosa Roman, Selena Torres, Sierra Martinez, Mikaela Barnes,

Leonor Gallegos and alternate Doran Triggs.

Four GPHS Choir Students in District Choir

They are Andres Ramirez, Matthew Mendez, Nathaniel Fox and John Hays.

Congratulations to these outstanding students!!

Upcoming Events - Mark Your Calendar

Our Fall Cluster Concert will be in Chambers Auditorium at 7:00pm on October 27, 2009. We will have our GPHS choirs perform as well as our feeder middle schools.

Our choir students are attending a choral clinic at Bass Hall in Fort Worth on November 2, 2009 during the school day and then going to see the a cappella group "Chanticleer" on November 3, 2009 in the same location.
